the hotel was clean and the room was nice, its just the staff that let it down their all teenagers and they just mess around and discuss their social lifes with each other during dinner service |

"Good business hotel"
Stayed over a weekend for a meeting. Good businsess hotel with everything you need including friendly efficient staff. Only downside was the rooms were too hot with no air conditioning. The small window only opens a little so there was very little scope for ventilation which did not help.

"a thoroughly enjoyable stay"
Stayed here Saturday and Sunday night of the August Bank holiday weekend. We booked from the late availibility options on Marston Hotels own website and paid £65 per room ( two of us in the room) per night. For two nights bed and breakfast for two total paid was £130 which was an absolute bargain.
The hotel was beautiful, very modern, bright and airy. The leisure facilities were good, we can thoroughly recommend the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi.
The breakfast was well presented and nicely cooked and worked on a help yourself basis. There was both hot and cold choices and the selection offered on both mornings was vast.
We ate in the brasserie both nights and enjoyed both meals. At around £50 for two starters, two mains, a dessert and a bottle of wine we certainly didn't feel cheated.
Our room was great, comfy bed, spacious (it was on a corner) and contemporary, and like a previous reviewer we enjoyed lying on the bed watching the plasma tv on the wall in front of us. The bathroom was quite large and spotless with fluffy big white bath towels
A previous review for 15th June refers to this hotel as an overpriced motel. No way, with the Nottingham Belfry you get what it says on the packet, 4 star all the way.
We had a lovely weekend in a lovely hotel and would go back without hesitation, well done Marston Hotels.
